It’s been quite a few months, but at last I have completed my novel The Old Fisher. Next steps will be the demoralising task of convincing a publisher that there is commercial value in the tale of an old Trinidad fisherman.
In the meanwhile, I’m sharing Boodoo’s story. A bit of background on the hapless young man who found himself stranded on a fifty foot pirogue.

It is written in lyrical prose, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much I enjoyed writing it.
